Seed Analytics 2020 – Workshop – March 11-13, 2014
This workshop will provide an in-depth view of analytical equipment that is shaping the future of seed research and the industry.
The program will include theoretical and practical modules on the fundamentals of seed respiration and maturity, principles of the Q2 Scanner, CF-Mobile, Videometer, experimental setup, data analysis and applications.
The program is offered in partnership with the UC Davis – Seed Biotechnology Center and the Centor Group.
March 11, 8 am – 5 pm:Introduction to seed respiration/metabolism

- Hands-on: Q2 Scanner
March 12, 8 am – 5 pm:
- Indtroduction to image analysis
- Videometer/CF-Mobile equipment overview
- Applications to research and seed industry
- Hands-on: CF-Mobile/Videometer
March 13, 8 am – 4 pm:
- Data collection and analysis
- Seed Lab 2020 – Brainstorm

Daily parking and permits for $8.00 are available in lot VP PCL.
Registration Fee: The cost of the course is $1,100 for general registration and $750 for UC Davis affiliates.The fee includes light snacks, lunches and all course materials.
